"Diesen besonderen Döner gibt‘s in Berlin"

The Berliner Morgenpost reports on a very special seasonal creation at Kebap with Attitude in Berlin-Mitte: the “Döner Beelitzer Art.”

Instead of the usual döner fillings, this dish combines regional white asparagus, grilled beef, feldsalad, hollandaise sauce, strawberry-ginger marmalade, and wild garlic mayonnaise — all tucked into warm flatbread.

The idea is to unite German and Turkish culinary traditions in one innovative creation. The result is a juicy and surprising fusion that requires a good stack of napkins.

The initiative even received praise from the Association of Asparagus Growers of Eastern Germany, who welcomed the creativity in using the seasonal “royal vegetable.”
