Kebap with Attitude was featured in Falstaff (August 30, 2023) in an in-depth interview and portrait about how we are reimagining the döner kebab for a new generation.
Founder Deniz Buchholz explained our “New Wave Kebap” philosophy: combining tradition with innovation, transparency, and respect for the Turkish roots of the dish, while showcasing what döner can become in a modern Berlin setting. The article highlights our mission to move beyond the fast-food image, emphasize quality and regional sourcing, and explore bold variations like the Funky Mango Kebap, the Trüffel Delüks, and the Smoky Tschick — celebrated as Berlin’s ultimate “hangover kebab.”
Falstaff underlined our vision of döner as a true culinary experience: thoughtful, seasonal, and crafted with care, showing how a street-food staple can evolve into an elevated, contemporary dining concept.
