"Edel-Döner zwischen Spargel und Trüffel"

Kebap with Attitude was featured on tagesschau (ARD/rbb) (June 2, 2024) in a report by Ole Hilgert, covering how Berlin’s street food classic is evolving into high-end gastronomy.

The feature highlighted Kebap with Attitude’s “Döner Beelitzer Art”, created by head chef Felix Schneider and owner Deniz Buchholz. The dish combines grilled beef, white asparagus, feldsalad, strawberry-ginger marmalade, bear’s garlic mayonnaise, and Hollandaise sauce – blending German and Turkish influences into a bold new döner concept.

Buchholz explained that the idea is not only to serve delicious food but also to provoke, polarize, and modernize the döner as part of Berlin’s multicultural identity. While some traditionalists remain skeptical, customers have embraced the fusion of urban fast food and regional specialties.
